just thought i'd post a few photos of my amazing, enlightening trip to glacier! our view from camp was quite beautiful and we had an almost full moon. we followed deer #41, 42 and 43 into a car camp-site before we got to the park. we had about 25 pound packs and a flat trail... it's amazing what a difference that makes. we stopped for lunch thinking we were only about halfway there... 10 minutes later we were setting up camp!
don't you worry, we did go for a swim in the glacial melt... read a conference talk over the campfire, went to bed, slept in late (we didn't have to summit a peak!!) hung out at the camp site and meandered five miles back to the car.
on the road to and from our trailhead, i realized more than ever just how badly i want a truck...
thanks mom for feeding us along the way! and as always, for your support and filling of my need for chocolate milk.

in before i had to go to a work meeting. cliff,
my very good doctor friend, wanted to climb this huge arete
in big cottonwood canyon, and i, having the day off and all, not too enthusiastically agreed. the weather was absolutely terrible, the views sucked
, the workout was less than mediocre and i was in fear for my life the whole time.
